As more demands are placed on school districts, fewer hands-on science opportunities are being provided in the classrooms. To ensure that students have an opportunity for science literacy and to explore the wonders of science, FCMA raises funds to support the Aquarium's extensive array of programs, some that are attended by schoolchildren during the day and some that occur after school, on weekends or during the summer.
